My quick opinion? Yes! Kansas City wins, but what do I know!

Chicks and tiggers in Missouri

September 18, 2011

Its been a long week in the rain waiting to do a show in Kansas City? Does anyone out there know what a Dickey Bub is?  This state is interesting to say the least. From the k9 drug enforcement road blocks to the ticks the size of freckles, and don’t forget the deliverance accent. Oh Missouri.

If mad max lived in an apartment complex he’d live here in Saint Louis.

I was in San Francisco on Tuesday and I am in Saint Louis today.  Saw this beauty in Nebraska. They makem extra special there. It says “Whiskey bent and hell bound”. And marijuana is still illegal. USA. I love it really. It tickles me on the inside.

poem de jour

January 23, 2011

oh without you

enjoying the

slow moving cars

being right here

right now

changing tempertures

slowing heating up

and then cooling

down

wandering and

wondering if

the gauges read out

talks of truth

or destiny

don’t be scared

nothing but the end

is written

I wouldn’t have

these super powers

without you

I think I know

the future

you discovered me

Artist Studio

January 20, 2011

Oh my time in the studio is so precious. I had a great night working last night. Figured some direction out. More to come.  I have another poem I am working on for you too!

Another poem for you

November 22, 2010

needing the new

numb with passion

tortured over nothing

i listen to myself think

answers over there

feeling destiny invisible before me

numb and tortured

the motivation drys quickly

seems the same

day after day

but how can that be

I want to feel more

A poem today

November 21, 2010

Drowning in interpretation

riding the wake of giants

trying to see in front of my two left feet

listening for silence

for the calm in the eye of the storm

judged by what floats on the surface

yet just able to reach for a breath

the water laps against my ear drums

over and over again my brain makes waves

I stack sandbag after sandbag

the interpretation is relentless
